Buying computer equipment

 Faculty Equipment & Funding

  Faculty are provided with Startup Funds when they first join the School. These are expected to cover computer and research needs.

  After startup funds expire, Research & Travel Funds can be used to purchase new equipment.

  Faculty with research requiring specialized equipment are responsible for obtaining funding via Grants or Departmental Support.

  SE Computing can help with quotes, budget planning, and technical/software recommendations.

 Staff Computer Setup

  Staff are issued a PC laptop for hybrid work, upgraded every 4–5 years and kept under warranty.

  Standard setup includes: Dock External Charger Mouse Keyboard Monitor

  A Xerox copier is provided for office printing needs.

  For additional needs, please check with your department manager.
