What we support

 Equipment Support

  Support is provided for UC Irvine–purchased equipment only

  UCI-owned equipment located off campus can be supported remotely

  We cannot support home wireless networks — please consult your internet provider

 Hardware Repairs

  We diagnose and troubleshoot hardware problems as part of general support

  Repairs are handled by the manufacturer

  Dell offers 24-hour on-site repair service direct to campus

  Apple repairs must go through the Apple Store — SE Computing is not an authorized Apple repair center

 Warranty Requirement

  All University computers must have warranties: PCs are quoted with 4-year warranties, and Macs with AppleCare

 Research Support

  SE Computing will help identify your research needs using school and campus resources

  We can assist with selecting and purchasing additional resources

  Faculty should contact SE Computing early when planning technical research projects
